NextGen Christmas Party: Dec 2025
We closed out the fall semester by celebrating Christmas the best way we know how, through community, laughter, and serving others! Our Christmas Party brought students together for a festive evening filled with meaningful conversations, friendly competition, and an opportunity to make a tangible impact in our local community.
The night kicked off with a shared dinner and a spirited round of Holiday Hot Takes, where everyone weighed in on classic Christmas debates and got to know one another a little better. We then took time to reflect on the true meaning of Christmas, discussing how the season calls us to love others through generosity, hope, and service.
One of the most meaningful parts of the evening was our Christmas service project. Together, students assembled hygiene care packages for a local shelter, carefully packing essential items that would be distributed to individuals experiencing homelessness. What began as a simple activity quickly became a reminder that small acts of kindness can have a lasting impact. Every package represented more than basic necessities, it was a way of showing dignity, care, and compassion to members of our community who needed it most.
After serving together, the fun continued with a gingerbread house competition that brought out plenty of creativity (and a little friendly rivalry). We ended the evening with desserts, time to catch up with friends, and excitement for everything to come in the spring semester, including our upcoming Spring Launch!
As we celebrated the Christmas season, we were reminded that the greatest gift we can give is our time and willingness to serve others. It was a fitting way to end the semester, growing in friendship while living out NextGen's mission to make an impact both locally and globally!
